A new catamaran built by Blyth Catamarans Ltd has just been launched with a full stern gear package from Clements Engineering including a pair of 4 bladed 24” hyperform propellers. The 11m catamaran has been designed for use as a passenger ferry and will shortly be sent to its new owners in the Philippines where it will go into service.
Clements Engineering has worked with Blyth Catamarans for many years on a variety of vessels that they have built. The propellers and stern gear are designed for each vessel individually and the whole manufacturing process from the casting to finishing at the Clements Bedfordshire based facility.
